Prologue
I never planned to write this.
Some stories are born from imagination.
This one is born from silence—the kind that stays after someone leaves.
If you’re reading this, then maybe you’ve loved someone who felt like home.
Or maybe you’re about to.
She didn’t walk into my life like a miracle.
She slipped in slowly, unnoticed.
A conversation here. A laugh there.
And one day, I realized my days were lighter just because she existed in them.
With her, I wasn’t pretending to be strong.
I was just… me.
And somehow, that was enough.
But life doesn’t always care about love.
It moves people apart without asking.
It creates reasons where there were none,
and distances where hearts still want to stay close.
We didn’t end because we stopped loving each other.
We ended because timing chose to be cruel.
Now, I carry her in small things—
songs I can’t skip,
places I avoid,
memories that appear when I’m finally okay.
This isn’t a story about blaming anyone.
It’s about remembering.
About holding on to what was real, even when it couldn’t last.
This is my story.
Written by someone who loved deeply…
and learned that sometimes, love doesn’t stay—
it changes you and walks away.
Welcome to In My World.
