Massive swarms of desert locusts are destroying crops across western and central India, spearing into Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab now, after Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana, as the government said it has stepped up its response to the country’s worst locust attack in nearly three decades.
Bear Grylls has applied for Indian citizenship after the locust attack. Bear will do anything to get Indian citizenship. He has already started learning Hindi and Indian culture. He has become a fan of Bollywood and Sachin Tendulkar.

He was also seen remembering each and every record of Sachin Tendulkar. Once he gets the citizenship, he will then apply for Aadhar Card. Bear was also seen taking tips from Adnan Sami about how to easily get Indian citizenship.
Punjab too has been put on high alert for the infestation and control rooms have been set up in each district and farmers have been asked to report
