Deepa phir kitchen se nikal kar sidhe apne pati ke paas gayi, jo ab apna laptop band karke baitha hua tha.

Deepa: (Pyar se poochhte hue)

"Pakka aapko kuch nahi khana hai?"

Pati: (Aankhein malte hue, thake hue lehze mein)

"Nahi baba... mujhe ab neend aa rahi hai. Mai bohot thak gaya hoon."

Deepa: (Man hi man khush hote hue)

"Thik hai... to aap so jaiye. Mai jara neeche jaake aati hoon."

Pati: (Thoda chauk kar)

"Neeche? Aur iss waqt?"

Deepa: (Halki si muskaan ke saath)

"Haan, jara woh Munna...

Deepa ke muh se pehle toh Munna ka naam nikalne hi wala tha, par usne turant baat sambhal li.

I mean, apne baby ko ghumake laati hoon. Thodi hawa lag jayegi toh use bhi achhi neend aayegi."

Pati: (Chadar odhte hue)

"Thik hai, chaabi le jao... aur aate waqt meri neend mat kharab karna."

Deepa: "Thik hai!"

Pati ke sote hi Deepa ke chehre par ek shatir aur raahat bhari smile aa gayi. Woh turant dining table se woh polythene bag uthati hai jismein usne Munna ke liye garam bhurji, roti aur kesar-badam ka doodh pack kiya tha.

Sath hi apne baby ko god mein lekar woh ek baar phir mirror ke samne jati hai...
