She called Jude and instructed the car should be available at 9 am and he should book for her for Friday evening and return next Thursday evening for Blr. She told him to receive her at the gate and take her to the cabin and meet her at 9:30. Her stern no-nonsense voice gave Jude a scare and he realized Madam is no pushover.

A BMW came at 9 sharp and Pavithra dressed in a tight saree with a sleeveless blouse but not that revealing with proper makeup, and high heel got into the car. Jude was at the gate itself to receive her. He came running behind the car and opened the door for her. She liked it. He then took her to the cabin which was well furnished, and she was told the cabin was the one used by Rony and Rony had now asked to be allotted to her. She instructed Jude in future 15 minutes before she comes the AC should be switched on.
She asked Jude how many where in this office and why no one was to be seen around. Jude replied the numbers in that office and another and said the working hours are 10 to 6 but people generally sit late and Saturdays till 3 pm.
She met the Seniors during the day, individually and spent a lot of time with the Finance guy. She asked a lot of pertinent questions on Sales, growth, number of customers, what percentage comes from whom, vendors. For a first day, everyone was impressed with her depth and her willing to know things. At 12:30 she sent her driver home with Club papers and she called Prasad to ask him to go Club and submit the papers. She told him to spend some time in Club and mall and reach back home after 3:30. Prasad understood and did not say anything except he would do. On the way to Club, he looked at the papers and found that only Pavithra name and kids name were included. His name was not there. He went and met Mr Pai. He enquired if Pavithra had not come. He replied she was busy in the office. Pai a seasoned guy and old friend of Rony understood. He took the papers and asked Prasad for his contact number. He informed him as soon as the Digital card was ready, he would inform he could come and pick up. She was not happy with the answer and told Prasad, he should have called from there. She now decided to call Pai. She thanked him and told she would reach around 8:15 am. She looked at Prasad and told him this is how work should be done.
